Kayomi Harai

Born in Sakai City, Osaka. Self-taught, she continued painting animals and began working in California, USA in 1991. Since then, she has presented her works at exhibitions and auctions in the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, London, and elsewhere. Her theme is to portray animals with striking eyes and rich expressions; she produces both powerful works of big cats like tigers and leopards and charming pieces of cats and small animals in parallel. Currently, licensed products such as puzzles, apparel, and various collector items based on her work are sold in many countries around the world.
