The 225 series 0 series, a suburban train for the “Special Rapid” and “Rapid” services that form the backbone of the Kansai Urban Network, has already been introduced.
Since the November 2010 timetable revision, 8-car trains from the Aboshi General Rolling Stock Depot have been operating on the Tokaido and Sanyo lines, and some have been coupled with 223 series trains to form 12-car trains. The 225 series 5000 series has also begun operating on the Hanwa line, and with further expansion planned, the 225 series is expected to be a new face of JR West’s suburban trains and will see widespread use.

By incorporating the separately sold “Headlight Special Circuit Board” from Hobby Center KATO, you can recreate the headlights of the leading car, which are coupled together to prevent passengers from falling off the platform, illuminated.
