The Tokyu 5000 series debuted in 2002 as Tokyu’s next-generation standard train, beginning operation on the Den-en-toshi Line. It features a corporate red stripe along with a green stripe indicating the line color, wrapped around the cornice section. This series actively serves across three prefectures, connecting with the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line, Tobu Skytree Line, and reaching to Kuki on the Tobu Isesaki Line and Minami-Kurihashi on the Tobu Nikko Line.
